The family-friendly Whale Shark Festival will showcase the time-honored dances, local cuisine, nearby businesses and works from local artisans. Guests can also participate in some of the water activities that have made Isla Mujeres a favorite vacation spot: sport fishing, diving and snorkeling tours of the pristine reefs and of course swimming with whale sharks, the largest fish in the world and an endangered species.

The protector of the fishermen of Isla Mujeres. Is celebrated with a religious parade by downtown and also a nautical parade with boats to its Chapel in Contoy Island.

It is a tradition that in the mainsquare, the homes and local businesses prepare with traditional food and processions are part of this singular celebration. Admire the traditional decoration of the altars, with its sugar skulls, candles, Christian images and pictures of their late beloved. Also de prayers, the mass at the chapel and flowers at the local cementery.

will swim with our fully licensed, expert diver/guides. You’ll
swim with these magnificent sharks that feed on plankton,
algae and krill. All Swimmers will get to swim with the sharks
or you may just observe and take photos from the boat. You
can either use your own equipment or ours. We bring fresh
fruit, soft drinks and water aboard. Upon your return
to Isla Mujeres, having experienced one of nature’s

Our most exciting trips are Cancun Sailfishing, where we
target Atlantic Sailfish. These Ferraris of Sport
fish are amazing acrobats and one of the best fights on
light tackle. Dolphin (mahi-mahi), Bonito, Kingfish, Spanish
Mackerel and Wahoo are also seen frequently, and make for
great catches.
